In our study, besides the determination of the dictionary and term meanings of the concept of esatiru'l-awwalin mentioned in the 9th Sura of the Qur'an, the usage contexts of this concept are emphasized. The root causes of the objections and accusations made by Mecca pagan about monotheism, prophethood and the hereafter, which are the main subjects of theology of Kalam and which are the basic principles of religion, are investigated and the data related to them are analyzed.
